These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Ihor Bezzubenko, an individual operating the Nova Visuals project from Kyiv, Ukraine ("Nova Visuals", "we", "us"). You can reach us at [email protected]. They cover novavisuals.pro, the Nova Visuals launcher, and the Nova Visuals mod (together, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may only use it with a parent or guardian's permission, and they must approve any purchase.
Nova Visuals is a client-side visual modification for Minecraft: Java Edition — it changes how the game looks on your own screen. The launcher and a starter set of modules are provided at no cost. A paid plan is a licence to the designs we create (see section 3), not a sale of the modification and not a sale of Minecraft. It is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Nova Visuals is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios.
Nova Visuals is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Spotify AB, Apple Inc. or Deezer. All other product names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
You may download the launcher and play with the starter set of modules without paying anything. What a plan buys is a licence to our own design work — cosmetics, weapon skins, animated effects and the custom interface — all of which we create ourselves.
We do not sell, resell, host or distribute Minecraft, any part of it, or any account for it. Minecraft is bought from Mojang Studios and the game files are downloaded from Mojang's own servers by your launcher. You need your own legitimate Minecraft account, signed in with Microsoft, to play. Nothing you pay us goes to Mojang or Microsoft, and nothing you pay them goes to us.
We do not distribute Mojang's artwork, textures, sounds, code or trademarks as part of our designs. Everything we charge for is original work; if you believe any of it infringes your rights, write to us at the address in section 13 and we will act on it.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Your license is tied to your account and your device.

Many Minecraft servers set their own rules about client modifications. Whether Nova Visuals is allowed is decided by each server, not by us. Check the rules of any server you play on before using Nova Visuals there. We are not responsible for any suspension, ban, or loss of items, ranks, or progress imposed by a third-party server or by Mojang, and a ban is not grounds for a refund.
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers; we never receive or store your full card number.
Subscription plans (1 month, 6 months) are one-time purchases for a fixed period unless you turn on auto-renewal. A one-time plan does not renew and we will not charge you again unless you buy again. A Lifetime plan is a single payment for as long as we operate the Service.
Auto-renewal (optional). When you buy a 1-month or 6-month plan you can choose to renew it automatically. You turn it on yourself by ticking a consent box that shows the price and how often it renews; it is never on by default. If you turn it on:
Card payments are processed by Stripe; a saved card is stored by Stripe, not by us.
Nova balance. You can add funds to your Nova balance and spend them on plans and cosmetics in your account. The balance is kept in U.S. dollars, belongs to your account only and cannot be moved to another account, and it does not expire while your account is open. We email you a receipt for every top-up and every plan purchase.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
We may add, change, or remove features of the Service. If we make a change that materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we will give you notice by email.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms. If we terminate your account for a violation, you are not entitled to a refund. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by emailing us.
If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nova Visuals is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or lost game progress. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will notify you by email. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, where we operate. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protections that the law of your own country of residence gives you and that cannot be waived by agreement.
If you believe anything on novavisuals.pro or inside Nova Visuals infringes your copyright or trademark, email [email protected] with: what you own, where exactly it appears (a URL or a precise description), your contact details, and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
We act on complete notices promptly — normally within two business days — and we remove or disable the material while we look into it. We also terminate accounts that repeatedly publish infringing content.
Our launcher installs the Fabric loader and Fabric API (Apache License 2.0), and can install Sodium and Iris (GNU LGPL v3). They are the authors' original files, redistributed unchanged under those licences; we do not claim them as our own and we charge nothing for them. Their licences and source code are available from their authors, and we will remove any of them at the author's request.
Nova Visuals is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Spotify AB, Apple Inc., Deezer, Mojang Studios, or Microsoft. All product names, brands and trademarks mentioned in the mod, the launcher or on this site belong to their respective owners and are used only to say what our features work with.
The now-playing display shows the track your own computer is already playing, and it does so through the tools your operating system provides for that purpose: the Windows media session (the same source that powers the media panel in Windows) and, on macOS, the scripting interface published by the player application itself. Playback controls send the ordinary system media commands — the same ones as the keys on your keyboard.
To be explicit about what we do not do: we do not use the Spotify Web API, we do not ask for or receive a Spotify login, we hold no access to your streaming account, and we never receive, store, transmit or redistribute any audio. The feature works the same way with any player your system reports, not only Spotify.
Album artwork is looked up by track title and artist through public catalogue search services (the Apple iTunes Search API and the Deezer API) and is shown for identification only. The artwork remains the property of its owners; we do not claim any rights in it and we will remove any image at the rights holder's request — write to the address below.
Nothing about what you listen to leaves your computer: the track name, artist and position are read and drawn locally and are never sent to Nova Visuals servers or to other players.
