Nova Cosmetics and effects
Everything here is drawn by the Nova team. You choose the colors, and other players using Nova see what you wear.
What there is
- Auras that glow on the ground under your feet.
- Back pieces, hats and neck pieces with their own animation.
- Trails and silhouettes that follow you as you move.
- Kill effects and hit effects.
- Weapon designs applied to the items in your hand.
- A block highlight and sky in your colors.
Colors
Most designs take any color. Pick it in the game menu and the change shows up for other Nova players straight away.
Who sees them
Cosmetics are shown to players who also use Nova. Everyone else sees normal Minecraft. They are visual only and never change how you play.
Getting them
A plan licenses the team’s designs — the cosmetics, effects and the look of the interface. Plans are one-time payments in US dollars; auto-renewal is optional and off unless you turn it on: see plans.
Questions
Can other players see my cosmetics?
Players who use Nova see them. Everyone else sees vanilla Minecraft.
Do cosmetics give an advantage?
No. They are visual only.
Can I change colors?
Yes, in the game menu. Most designs accept any color.
